Today, I want to share something about the process of writing Their Sister's Rescue before you read the story. If you have already read it as part of the review team, you'll already know this scene in the story.
First, I was telling the LORD in prayer that I didn't want to write my life story. I said LORD YOU wrote Joseph's, so please write mine. That is why I won't include my story in my books, nor that of anyone I know. I write WHATEVER THE LORD gives me. And it's always fun. :)
So, when I discussed with GOD about my history, I was wondering how HE would document it. I said, LORD, what about the times when I was a kid and there was no one there that could attest to what happened? GOD said, "What do you think your cousin was there for?"
If nothing ever shocked me, that did. Because I then remembered she was indeed there, and went through those horrible times alongside me. GOD said, "There has never been an important period in your journey (through life) when Heaven didn't have a witness (present)."
I never forgot those words. To my amazement, I thought back and realized that GOD was right. There was always a witness for Heaven on my behalf, no matter how inconceivable the circumstances.
In Their Sister's Rescue, the post-cliff scene with Lucy and David, was inspired by an experience I had with my cousin, mentioned above. I reached that part of the story and if I recall correctly, I teared up in gratitude. And, today, I want to share what my heroes look like.
Please read that in Part 2 of this post. And, if you'd like to grab a copy of Their Sister's Rescue, click on the book cover to get it.
Part 2 follows next! Look out for it tomorrow, Oct 27 2019. Shalom.
